Glendora Kilmer is a 16 year old first generation cowgirl from Troy,NY. Currently attending Averill Park High School, she is following her dream of becoming an equine rehabilitator both academically and working as a vet assistant. When she is not studying, working or horseback riding; you can find Glendora training and showing her goats. With her hard work and determination, she hopes to continue to expand her knowledge and connections in the equine and rodeo industry while advocating and promoting the western lifestyle with all she meets!
Tiffany Shults is a caring and outgoing 12-year-old, who has a tremendous amount of love for all animals. She is currently in 6th grade at Canajoharie Middle School. Tiffany has been riding horses for 8 years, and in those 8 years she has shown much dedication and commitment to advancing her riding skills. Tiffany has worked very hard over the last three years training and seasoning her horse Jane from a trail horse to a now competitive barrel horse, in those three years Tiffany has quickly learned the time and dedication it takes to train a horse for a new discipline and how humbling it can be. Tiffany’s love for animals does not just stop at horses. She is filled with love and compassion for all animals, large and small. Tiffany shows competitively in Barrel Racing, Rodeos, and gaming events she also competes in many local Association and is currently active in school sports such as Swimming, Softball, Band, Chorus, Battle of the Books Club, Local 4H Club, Canajoharie Fish and Game Club, Holstein Association, and National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA). In Tiffany’s spare time she loves riding her horses, showing her cows, hunting and hanging out with her friends. Tiffany’s educational goal is to become a veterinarian along with being a horse trainer. You will always see Tiffany smiling on the sidelines as she is cheering everyone on and giving them helpful tips when she can as Tiffany shows much more care and kindness to everyone she sees.
Marina Tompkins began taking basic western riding lessons at the end of the 2021. She knew right away that horses were going to be her passion and loved the family atmosphere. Her dedication moved her right along to barrel racing lessons. After leasing a few horses, her father purchased her very first eleven year old heart horse R Drifting Lil Lena aka Lena. Marina is now in her third year of barrel racing. Marina lives in Upstate New York with her mom, brother, and dogs. Marina competes in barrel racing, gymkhanas, and rodeos. In the 2023-2024 season, Marina and Lena qualified two spots for the Youth and Open Worlds in Georgia. Marina started barrel racing at Midland Barrels in Fonda NY. Marina has competed in two of Midland’s Bull n Barrels rodeo placing in the top six earning money both times. She won a buckle for high money earners in 2023. She has not only raced in Fonda but Syracuse and Connecticut. This school year she won an award for her outstanding academic performance and was recognized for being on the principles list. Marina plays modified volleyball. Marina has always believed in team work and cheering on her friends whether it be regarding horses or sports. Marina will always continue to strive to do her very best!
